02-our-facilityWe are proud to meet high standards as a USDA inspected processing facility. It is important to us that we provide a great product with no sacrifice to sanitation and health for our clients and employees alike.

In 1996, we purchased an 18,000 sq. ft. space including two buildings that hold our office and warehouse processing facilities and ports for shipping and receiving. We go above and beyond to ensure this facility upholds the standards that the USDA requires.

About USDA Inspection

Any establishment that manufactures, processes, packs, or holds food for human consumption in the United States must meet specific regulations as defined by the United States Department of Agriculture. Prior to any production, our facility required pre-market inspection and approval and it continues to be inspected frequently. Food Safety and Inspection Services (FSIS) is the public branch of the USDA and inspects meat and poultry for proper labelling, and packing.

In the USDA’s early days, inspectors were keeping an eye out for animal diseases by visual inspection. Refinements in slaughtering and the production of meat has since reduced disease. Therefore, today’s inspectors are looking deeper with high-tech ways of monitoring chemical and microbiological contamination. Our employees are trained in Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) systems and take the utmost care in handling meat. This aids prevention of microbiological or chemical contamination of meat. Instructions are also placed on all raw meat and poultry to assist the employees.

Our facility allows us to offer sanitary processes in meat cutting and portion control for high quality meat and specialty items. Feel free to reach out to us with further questions!
